About Us

Teresa Freed

Hello,

Susan Critelli

For years we’ve seen a need for good, easy-to-understand art marketing information. Artists have special needs that many marketing professionals just don’t address.  Since we have first-hand knowledge and understanding of those needs, we’ve decided to put what we know into ArtMarketingJournal so every artist has access to the information they need in order to market their work more effectively.

We have known each other and worked together in the arena of Internet marketing for a number of years. Between us we have more than 22 years of experience in marketing, training, team-building, website design, and list management.

Teresa is also a professional artist (www.TeresaFreed.com), which is why she understands clearly what artists need in the way of websites and other tools to help them increase their exposure and sell more work.

Susan is a homeschooling Mom, as well as a small business owner, and is always among the first to adopt new computer and Internet technology. Her teaching skills and computer savvy shine through our materials.

Together, we are uniquely qualified to help you harness the power of the Internet to market your art and other services.

Our goal is to empower creative people of all kinds by helping you to:

  • learn how the Internet can help you reach your goals

  • devise a business and/or marketing plan and implement it

  • learn basic skills so you can be as independent as you want to be

  • locate service-providers who understand your unique needs, for the work you don’t personally want to do

  • get more from your marketing efforts and dollars

Of course, using the Internet requires a website, so many people will want to start there. But, your website is just the first step in getting more exposure and selling more work. Through ArtMarketingJournal you’ll also learn a number of creative ways to get more visitors to your site and to capitalize on those who like what they see once they get there.

In short, we hope to be your go-to website and art marketing resource. We’re looking forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.

Here’s wishing you great success!

Warm Regards,

Teresa Freed and Susan Critelli
